Employee Mental Health and Wellness Survey

The City of Mission is committed to creating a workplace that supports the mental health and well-being of its staff. The following survey is being conducted to better understand the mental health needs of our employees and ways in which the work environment is influencing mental health, positively or negatively. These anonymous responses will be used by the Whole Health Committee, in conjunction with the City's mental health consultant to develop department-specific action plans to support mental health.

The last employee mental health and wellness survey was conducted in December 2020, and much has changed since then and over the course of the COVID-19 pandemic. In response to the last survey the City of Mission has:

  1. Established the Whole Health Committee to provide input, guidance, and direction for an organization-wide mental health strategy;
  2. Actively promoted mental health support through the LifeWorks EAP;
  3. Made mental health a standing item at all department meetings;
  4. Implemented Wellness Days for all employees; and
  5. Hired a mental health consultant to assist in planning further changes to enhance mental health in the City.
