What is an Official Community Plan?
An Official Community Plan provides a long term vision in shaping the future of Mission. It covers all land within Mission’s municipal boundaries.
The plan is developed by the community to identify social, economic, environmental and land use principles and articulates the goals and policies of the community on topics such as:
Why is there a new plan?
The District of Mission’s OCP Bylaw 4052-2008 was adopted in 2008. Since then the District has grown and is changing every day. The new plan will allow for the opportunity to reflect the vision of the current and future community.
