About the Project

We are exploring the creation of a Health and Wellness District to help support the health, well-being, and quality of life of residents.

A Health and Wellness District would bring together health services, recreation, wellness programs, community supports, and related amenities in a connected area designed to serve residents now and into the future.

This project is currently in the planning phase. Community feedback will help shape the vision, priorities, and opportunities for the district.

Why Are We Exploring a Health and Wellness District?

As Mission continues to grow, so does the need for accessible health, wellness, recreation, and community services.

A Health and Wellness District could help:

  • Improve access to health and wellness services.
  • Support active and healthy lifestyles.
  • Create opportunities for partnerships between service providers.
  • Strengthen community connections.
  • Support long-term planning for future residents and generations.

Feedback gathered through this process will help identify what residents value most and what services or amenities should be considered as planning moves forward.

Review the Open House Materials

If you were unable to attend the open house, you can still learn about the project by reviewing the display boards and materials presented at the event.

The materials outline:

  • The vision and goals for a Health and Wellness District
  • Existing conditions and opportunities
  • Potential components and services that could be included
  • Considerations for future planning and development

Your feedback will help the City better understand community priorities and inform future planning for the project.

Share Your Feedback

Community input is an important part of this process.

After reviewing the open house materials, we invite you to complete the survey and share your thoughts on the future of health and wellness services in Mission.

Feedback collected during this engagement phase will help guide future discussions, planning, and decision-making as the project moves forward.

Thank you for taking the time to participate in this survey. The City of Mission is exploring the potential for a Health and Wellness District and is seeking community feedback to help inform future planning.

Before completing the survey, please take a few moments to review the project display boards available on this page. The information provided will help give context to the questions that follow and ensure your feedback is informed by the project objectives and opportunities being considered.

Your input is important and will help shape the future direction of this project.
