DPA Guidelines Review Project
The City is updating the existing Development Permit Area (DPA) Guidelines in Mission’s Official Community Plan to make them clearer, easier to use, and better aligned with community priorities.
This project aims to simplify and modernize the Development Permit Area Guidelines, improve consistency and clarity, reduce unnecessary complexity, and strengthen direction related to form and character, sustainability, environmental protection, and hazard mitigation. By taking a comprehensive approach, the project goal is to ensure the updated guidelines support high-quality development while remaining practical and efficient for applicants and reviewers.
